In the weeks following the 2019 car crash that killed Conner, her 16-year-old son, Tammy Guido McGee had no idea how she would recover from the suffocating grief that filled every moment of her daily life.

“I was definitely spiraling out of control,” the Yorktown mom says. “Obviously, there is no rule book, where you flip to page 250 and learn what to do when your son is killed.”
