It was great being at Hampton Christian Academy to talk to their 9th-12th graders.

You never know who you actually get through to, but when your presentation is over and they come from the stands to hug you and thank you and tell you they will speak up and not allow another tragedy to happen so needlessly, I get a renewed sense of why I do what I do.

I may not be able to bring Conner back but his tragedy continues to impact our teenagers in ways I am so moved by.
